Welcome to Bell Gardens Intermediate School!

Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Students,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you back to school. I am looking forward to working with you, your teachers and parents to make your learning experience enjoyable and productive. Below are some very important guidelines to follow the first day of school on Thursday, August 27, 2009.

1. Promptly arrive to school at 7:45 a.m. All gates will be locked by 7:55a.m.
2. Report to your homeroom teacher.
3 Obtain your class schedule from your homeroom teacher.
4. Present your class schedule to each teacher as you go from class to class.

Please be reminded that you are expected to come dressed in a school uniform as mandated by the Montebello Unified School District. Don't forget to have your tools for success, which include a backpack and the following school supplies: 3-inch binder, six dividers, zippered pouch, pencils, pens, highlighter,
and lined paper. Toys and electronic devices are strictly prohibited.

Cell phones are highly discouraged as we are not responsible if lost or stolen. A telephone is available for student use at all times in the attendance office in case of an emergency.

Once again, I am counting on you to make this school year an exceptional and memorable experience for you and all of us at Bell Gardens Intermediate School.

Sincerely,

Ricardo C. Mendez
Principal
